1 Percent Improvement

One of the foundational principles of Exponential Mindset Thinking™ is the 1 Percent Improvement Doctrine™. It seems simple enough as the videos below explain, but here’s the real challenge – most people, believe it or not don’t have the discipline to follow through. Even though it takes only minutes a day to essentially achieve their wildest dreams, they let themselves down – many within less than a week most within the first month.

I know how surprising that sounds, but that’s what I want to focus on for today – the fact that MOST don’t follow through means that when you do, you’ll get the lion’s share of the rewards.

That’s because no one else is doing it.

It’s not any more complicated than that. I know you want it to be complex and hard, but it’s not.

I learned this a long time ago and remain astonished how easy it is to out-perform the ‘herd’, the masses, the average person.

I’ve done it in multiple jobs, careers, businesses, industries and sports.

Not because I’m special, smart of gifted, but because I am more disciplined.

Here’s the thing I also learned about discipline. Most people don’t like it because they feel it’s something they “have to do”. It’s not, but let’s say it is.

Scenario #1: You’re NOT disciplined so you waste countless hours doing stuff that produces mediocre results, leaving you no free time.

Scenario #2: You ARE disciplined. Get “it” out of the way, reap the rewards AND have time to do what you want.

Seems like a slam dunk to me.

But then again, I’m biased. I’m also lazy, always looking for the easiest, quickest, cheapest way to get anything done.

I know most people think of me as an industrious hard worker, but using a squash analogy – I’ll beat an inferior opponent 3 games straight 15-0, 15-0, 15-0 without breaking a sweat any day of the week – IF I CAN.

That’s the KEY DISTINCTION – IF I CAN.

With the 1 Percent Improvement Doctrine™ I CAN.

You can too.

Watch the two videos that explains it all – then start to apply it and watch your results soar!
