Money Saving Tip – Promotional Signage

By now, you know about my 1 Percent Improvement Doctrine that simply states that it’s the small things that make the biggest difference. In fact, it’s why you are a subscriber to this and my other blogs. You know that I have countless ideas, tips and suggestions to make or save you money. Like today’s simple tip that can save you 500% to 1,000% on your promotional signage.

How To Save Money On Promotional Signage

Whenever you invest in signage, be it an A-Frame on the sidewalk or other signage for an event, try if at all possible NOT to include any dates and times ON the sign so that you can reuse it over and over and over again.

I know this sounds obvious, but trust me – it’s not. I see the signs all over the place. For example, I walked by an OPEN HOUSE event at my local squash club and the dates and times were on the sign – isn’t it obvious that the OPEN HOUSE is right now?

Of course they can have TWO SIGNS – one for ON THE DAY – COME IN… and the other ANNOUNCING the OPEN HOUSE THIS WEEKEND – Saturday and Sunday!

I know you think the 1 Percent Improvement Doctrine is simple – it is.

Albert Einstein said it best when he said “Make everything as simple as necessary, but no simpler.”

Then it becomes SIMPLISTIC.

This tip is NOT simplistic – But it is SIMPLE – it can save you HUNDREDS, maybe THOUSANDS of dollars.
