    Great tip Marc.

We also try and do this a bit with clients who know us well and are regular users of our Electronics and Embedded Software Development services.

And it is a 2 for 1 here. The shop gets the benefit and this post also gets the benefit.

One example for us plays on the different meaning the same word has for technical and non-technical people:

Resistance – is measured in Ohms if you care about electronics. But it means many other things. We have a client Borgtech Pty Ltd http://www.borgtech.com.au and a common phrase from The Borg in the Star Trek series is “Resistance is futile”. So we were able to play this as “Resistance is carefully datalogged and measured in Ohms”. They sell data loggers which we design for them so it fitted nicely and they were very pleased and amused.

I do appreciate the excellent input you provide as part of your exponential business building strategies. It is not just focused on one area but covers the full spectrum of things needed to grow a business with above average results.
