Using Emoticons In Business Emails

Here is some research that says using emoticons in business emails is not a good idea. Did we really need a research study to confirm that?!?!

Get New Leads For Free!

Yesterday, I blogged about how online lead generation was quick and easy, with a LIVE example. Today is a follow up with two parts.

The first part is how Lynn Gilmartin had a fabulous experience floating and video blogged about it. Inner Outer Health is a client of ours and its owner, Lena Yammine was gobsmacked when she saw the video as was I. You have to take a look at the video, it’s so natural, authentic and genuine – Lena could not have paid for a better testimonial!

The lesson here is that we tech our clients Exponential Marketing Strategies that are based on high-integrity, long-term value creation principles that once adopted, become exponential due to the sheer force of the Law Of Attraction. Paying it forward reaps dividends for months, years and decades to come.

One of the problems with modern life and technology is that “some” people forget we are still HUMAN and still act and react as humans do…

A testimonial like the one Lynn created for Lena is literally PRICELESS.

I am sure, after visiting Lynn’s website she totally gets it. I mean c’mon – read about her amazing journey… WOW!

Isn’t it amazing how “some” people get this stuff and others struggle?

The reason for my blog post today is to SHOW you how you can get new leads by adding value and leveraging the Internet as a HUMAN CHANNEL, to communicate with your audience. As you do that, you WILL reap the benefits, one click, one client at a time.

If you want to learn how you can start to attract more ideal clients like Lynn to YOUR business – have a look at a bundle we put together for you to help you generate more online leads effortlessly.

Once you do that, you’ll fully grasp the value of the FREE BONUS that resides on the next page…

Have Fun Growing Your Business Exponentially

This is a fun strategy… to grow your business exponentially.

Step #1: Get a video created that captures people’s attention and gets your primary message across. Sorry, my preferred site for these videos is a secret I keep for my clients. A video like this should cost less than $100 – MUCH LESS.

Step #2: Upload the video to YouTube and make sure to optimise the video to achieve the maximum SEO benefit and total views. Sorry, again those are special tips for clients only!

Step #3: Embed the video into your blog.

Step #4: Email your clients to watch the video on your blog – NOT YouTube directly.

By embedding the video into your blog, you will get people to remain on your blog (website) longer which will improve your SEO rankings.

It’s important that you syncronise your YouTube and blogging strategies for maximum results. I explain all of this and more in my Internet Lead Generation Toolkit.

Exponential Marketing Comic 2

This is the second in a series of comics, the first installment was about missed opportunities. This one’s about making the most of the opportunities that present themselves.

Online Lead Generation, Business Coaching, Business Mentoring

For some comics and cartoons might appear to be juvenile, silly or even immature, but the reality is that humour gives us the chance to laugh at ourselves within a safe context. It allows us the opportunity, in this case to reassess what we want and why we want it — and ultimately IF we want “it”.

These are deep, profound questions that humour does not dismiss but rather lightens the load for us.

The throw away phrase is that “life is too short to be too serious”. I agree. I also agree that with humour, we have another dimension for self-awareness and self-discovery.

It’s one of my foundational principles of my coaching and mentoring philosophy.

If nothing else, enjoy the comics, otherwise contact us when you’re ready. We’ll show you how you can have fun growing your business.

Technology – A liberator or enslaver?

I recently came across this image that even though it speaks for itself, it begs asking yourself the question:

Does technology liberate you or enslave you?

Dog Leash

I remember back in 1988 when I wanted to have a so-called cellular phone, which at the time was more of a battery with a handset attached to it. It cost a fortune back then and all it did was make and receive phone calls!

Uniden PhoneMy partner at the time was not a fan of cellular phones, so when I sat down with him to “negotiate” buying one, his response surprised me. He explained he didn’t want one because he would never get any peace.

I was launching a new business and had to be at the office all the time to make sure everything was running as it should – UNLESS I had a phone so the team could just call me, I was a slave to the business.

This was further emphasised to me while having dinner with my parents who (still) don’t like mobile phones.

I met my parents for dinner at a local restaurant with cellular (battery) in hand and was met with the “if you bring that thing in here, you have to turn it off…” To which I responded, “the only reason I can be here is because I have this with me. IF I am needed, my team will call and I will take the call outside, otherwise I can”t have dinner with you because I need to remain ‘available’.”

We had a great dinner and we were not interrupted with a call.

Since then I have always remained AWARE that technology is designed to SERVE us – not ENSLAVE us.

I wish more people understood the difference.

My partner and parents sure did/do!

Should you check your email?

Today, email communication is a key driver for business success. First, I understand email overload, but I also know there are email management tips that work.

As I’ve mentioned before, poor email communication is one of my telltale signs of a problem with an entrepreneur and/or small business. I am not advocating that INSTANT responses are necessary – just that they be TIMELY.

Anecdotally, it’s crystal clear – if you struggle to manage your emails, you’re ineffective and inefficient in your time and/or priority management. Simple as that. If you’d like to get more done in less time, contact us.

As an alternative, use the flowchart below to determine if you should check your email.
